The Gaelic Brass has many different members that are used depending on each musician's schedule. Listed are the musicians that you'll most likely see performing.

Liza Zumbrunnen or "Dame Vivace" is the arranger, first trumpeter, and booking agent for Gaelic Brass. If you ever see Gaelic Brass performing, Liza will be there on trumpet.

Liza works full-time as a trumpet and piano teacher in Overland Park, Kansas. She is currently earning her Master's in Music Education through the University of Florida.

Lee Hake or "Lord Gabriel" is a very important member to the Gaelic Brass. Lee Hake, who is professional trumpeter, plays mostly trombone (depending on what the band needs!).

Lee was the Gaelic Brass member who suggested we audition for the Kansas City Renaissance Festival in the first place- and now here we are!

Lee is a very accomplished musician and teacher in the Kansas City area.

New to us this year is Mike Merwhin. We have yet to come up with a name for him, but we'll call him "Huzzy" for now.

Mike is a professional trumpeter in the jazz scene around Kansas City. He currently teaches brass at Meyer Music in Overland Park, KS.
